Reasons to Seriously Consider
Scottsdale Homes For Sale

Why Buying a Scottsdale Home Gets More than a House

Jodie Carpenter had always been a bit of a tom-boy. Which was part of the reason the 29 year old health care analyst at the newest hospital in the Scottsdale area found that corner of the Valley so appealing.

It was also why she had been so enthusiastic in her romp through the Scottsdale homes for sale. At times embarrassing her husband Brandon during their somewhat exuberant house search.

Sure a couple of the Scottsdale Arizona new homes caught her eye. But they settled into an older neighborhood property. Going for what Jodie called 'character over glitz'.

But their piece of real estate was still within easy driving distance of the magnificent vistas of the surprisingly lush Sonoran Desert. Where they are able to get in some hiking, biking and backpacking on weekends.

They also like to do trail rides through the McDowell Mountain foothills.

And enjoyed tubing on the Verde or Salt rivers. Although Jodie especially liked the calm-water floats which gave the Carpenters the occasional glimpse of wildlife.

That's not to say they ignore the downtown Scottsdale art and shopping districts. That are filled with art galleries, restaurants and upscale boutiques and shops. It's just that they wanted a Scottsdale home that let them to be close to nature too.

Even though many who are looking at the Scottsdale Arizona homes for sale aren't all so into such an outdoor lifestyle, it's there if you want it. Which is why Jodie feels that buying a Scottsdale home you get more than a house.
